Description

The property is a newly refurbished Lakeland stone cottage and the client wanted a beautiful traditional exterior feel to the fireplace.

We have done a variety of similar stone fireplace projects over the years and designed stone surrounds that complement
and incorporate the old open cast iron fireplace.

One of the largest obstacles on this project was the size of the fireplace needed to blend in with the room in order not to be too overwhelming whilst retaining a noticeable presence.

Our highly experienced stone masons did a fantastic job hand picking the materials from the quarry and dressing it to suit the fireplace.

Our clients could not have been happier with the result!
