Insert stove Installation (ACR Tenbury T400)
Project Summary
Description
We were approached by our client who required a replacement to their existing gas fire in the kitchen, and they wished for it to be replaced with an insert wood burner. The gas fire was very inefficient, and the customers wanted a beautiful warm glow with a real fire to complement their newly fitted kitchen.
We helped them to choose and design their fireplace and brought the design to life. Firstly our gas engineer attended the night before to disconnect the existing gas fire ready for the installation teams the next morning. Our team arrived on site nice and early and started building works to create the opening where the existing gas fire was located to allow a cosy insert for the wood burner. Next, the liner was installed down the chimney stack and connected to the stove. Our plasterer then plastered the front wall to give a beautiful clean finish. We connected the frame to the front of the stove and finally, the glass hearth installed. A beautiful job and one happy couple, all done in a single day to mee the requirement of the client.
